An oil vaporizer is a device that uses heat to convert oil into a vapour that can be inhaled. Oil vaporizers generally use the same systems as e-liquid vapes but with a few key differences. The most obvious difference is the type of wick and coil used. Since oil is much thicker than e-liquid, it doesn't vaporize as well in an e-liquid vape. This means that you'll need a different kind of coil and wick designed specifically for oil vaporization. Another difference is the type of heating chamber used. Oil vaporizers typically have a ceramic or quartz chamber, with a porous material like a mesh pad inserted into it. You then add your concentrate oil to the pad, which is heated and turned into vapour. Typically these are 510 threaded batteries for use with prefilled cartridges otherwise known as mcarts.
